Manager/Supervisor
Basic Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing the Technical Operational functions for the organization.  Technical Services systems/functions include treated water systems; clinical/biomedical equipment; solution delivery systems (SDS); equipment interfaces with IS devices; Supervisor of technical services staff and facility issues including building and equipment systems.

Administration & Leadership:
  • Oversee technical operations and staff at multiple facilities
  • Assure compliance with all regulatory standards, including CMS, OSHA and AAMI
  • Develop short and long-term initiatives for personnel training and staff development
  • Help the DTS develop and implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA)
  • Audit and report compliance with policies and procedures to the DTS
  • Perform Technical Coordinator and Technical Assistant functions in the absence of the Technical Coordinator and/or Technical Assistant
  • Follow all CDC policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In conjunction with the Director of Technical Services  - 
  • Develop policies and procedures for monitoring, preventative maintenance, repairs and documentation
  • Monitor compliance with policies and procedures
  • Assure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and AAMI standards
  • Develop and implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) tracking and reporting program
  • Produce quality assurance reports and make procedural adjustments as necessary based on QA data
  • Draw cultures using sterile techniques when assigned.
  • Review culture results and, when necessary, take appropriate action per CDC policies and procedures. Document events in the biomed software.
  • Review new technologies and systems
Solution Delivery Systems (SDS):
  • Develop policies and procedures for monitoring, preventative maintenance, repairs and documentation
  • Monitor compliance with policies and procedures
  • Assure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and AAMI standards
  • Develop and implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) tracking and reporting program
  • Produce quality assurance reports and make procedural adjustments as necessary based on QA data
Dialysis machines and other biomedical equipment:
  • Develop policies and procedures for monitoring, preventative maintenance, repairs and documentation
  • Assure compliance with all applicable manufacturer, regulatory agencies and AAMI standards
  • Develop and implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) tracking and reporting program
  • Produce quality assurance reports and make procedural adjustments as necessary based on QA data
  • Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE TRAINING AND LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in direct personnel management
  • 2+ years’ experience in direct leadership experience
  • Dialysis treated water systems and technical aspects of dialysis experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated team support and participation skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and with integrity
  • Technically skilled with proven ability to troubleshoot problems, solve abstract issues, and to interpret then implement policies and procedures
  • Advanced computer and software experience – proven user of Microsoft office programs
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to lift at least 25lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
